About Us

Attleboro Farms was founded in 1975. With two hundred dollars and the desire to become truly independent, Ray Aubin began a farm and seed supply business (at the current site of Showcase Cinemas on route 1 in North Attleboro) immediately following college.

Servicing the farms in the '70's was quite a challenge in itself. It became evident that we had to package some type of value-added component to our offering or we could not compete and be profitable going forward. As a result, we began growing and selling plants for homes and gardens.

As the agrarian segment declined and our rural vistas became single-family houses, we saw an opportunity to service more fully a different market demographic. We already sold plants and fertilizers to local farms, so it was not much of a leap to enter the homeowner/landscaper market.

The current focus has shifted over the years to a full service, top quality garden center. Although we have seen dramatic changes in the retail environment, we are fortunate to have made appropriate adjustments that have helped us retain our competitive edge. We know you, our customers, and have worked diligently to communicate with you. This communication has helped us build strong relationships.

After 32 years of successful ownership, Ray and Judy Aubin and family entered into an agreement to transition Attleboro Farms to their son Gregory and Kris Kieon of Total Lawn and Landscape, headquartered in North Attleboro, MA.

Commenting on the proposed transaction, Kris Kieon, President of Total Lawn Care, said, "We are truly excited to add Attleboro Farms to our portfolio of companies and welcome its outstanding employees to the team. Attleboro Farms maintains the same high quality reputation with its customers that we have earned with our customers in the landscape services business. Attleboro Farms will continue to be led by Greg Aubin as Chief Executive Officer."

Backed by K & G Enterprises, we can move forward knowing that our customers can expect the same first-rate products and services that they have been accustomed to receiving for many years. In addition, our employees will continue to have a great place to work as we will continue to operate the same facility in the same community that we have in the past.
