Who are we?
Attleboro Farms nursery and greenhouses has been serving the Attleboro area since 1976. Our products are annuals, perennials, nursery stock, gifts, birdseed and feeders, seasonal items, and all other garden related materials. Our growth depends on repeat customers who respond to a combination of our quality products, the service they receive from our team, and the overall satisfaction they get from their shopping experience with us. In short, we wouldn’t be in business without our customers. We consider our associates our most important asset, and this is what we expect from you:

Image is very important to us, we do have a dress code and we dress in a neat, clean, professional manner. We acknowledge customers when they come in the store and we must always be accessible to help them. Use of cell phones while you are at work is not permitted.
Attitude
Our employees are expected to show up to work on time consistently. We expect you to ask us “Is there any thing else that needs to be done?” before ending each shift and clocking out. You will be expected to attend weekly staff meetings. You will be expected to work weekends. We are interested in people that care enough about our company and our customers to “go the extra mile.” We encourage and reward employees who take the time to offer ideas or suggestions that might make our company run more efficiently, service our customers better, or increase our business. We expect our company policy to be followed and respected.
Physical Work EnvironmentYou will work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather including sun, heat, cold, rain, wind, even snow if you will be with us for the Christmas season. Your job is physical and requires frequent bending, grabbing, and lifting. You will be on your feet all day, standing or walking, and throughout you will need to be both pleasant and energetic. You will be expected to lift at least 40 lbs. (a 5-gallon shrub or a 2 cu. ft. bag of soil on your own.) We encourage you to maintain good physical health to enable you to perform your work duties in a consistent, efficient manner.
Social Work Environment
All staff is expected to get along with each other. We don’t tolerate personal complaints of fellow employees unless their actions make you feel uncomfortable or affect your ability to complete your work properly. We have a social, caring, and outgoing staff. It is important that you are able to get along well with, and be a cohesive part of, our team. Our employees are expected to act with a sense of urgency towards our customers. Their time is valuable to them and the help they receive from our staff should be nothing less than immediate and nothing short of excellent.
